Things I've made

So, I finally decided that I've made enough scarves and need to try something different crochet-wise. Small toys are clearly the way forward! (Ahem)

First attempt - a snail. The simplest small animal pattern I could find!

Second attempt - a teddy. About five inches tall sitting, for reference. After a fair bit of hunting, I finally found a lovely shop in Newcastle called "Woolly Minded" which sold me teddy bear noses....

Both made with odds and ends of wool scraps from Fhtagn's mum!

Adorable! I like the anxious look on your teddy's face. Have you found a crochet pattern for Cthulu yet?

Hehe :) Not sure that was deliberate, but hey! There are various patterns online... but I may try a few more with fewer pieces to shape first. I'm not very good at getting e.g. both arms the same length yet!

Oh, very cute! And very neatly made. You're certainly up for doing more complex stuff! Glad you're having fun with it. Do buzz me if you need to stash-dive, OK? I have much stash. Requests like 'Have you got a bit of royal blue? And I need a wee bit of scarlet...' send me to the yarn stash and the jiffybag pile with glee. Just saying!

*grins* Thanks, and thanks for the offer! I have a fair pile to work through at the moment, but may well take you up on that if I'm aftertrimmings in an awkward colour!

Fiona has requested a turtle, so that's my current project!
